I entered my last training cycle already compromised—shoulder torn, but my ego told me to push through. I convinced myself that grit would carry me further than discipline. It didn’t. The damage deepened, and the mission suffered.

This was the hard reminder I needed: ego doesn’t win battles—strategy does. I’m recalibrating, reverting to the protocols I know keep me operational, healthy, and still driving toward the objective. The mission continues, but this time with precision instead of pride.
